- Prepaid bookings: The Hotel will immediately process a non refundable charge of the entire stay on the credit card given at the time of booking. The same card must be presented upon arrival in order to verify the cardholder’s identity. In case of cancellation, due to an invalid credit card , new bookings will have new available rates.
- Rates and Cancellation Policy
1. For refundable reservations only, Starhotels will charge the amount of the first night in case of cancellation after deadline – so called Late Cancellation – or in case of No show, respectively as a penalty or as a service rendered.
2. In case of any variation of stay, the rates may be subject to change.
3. In the event of the reduction in the number of nights originally booked, the hotel reserves the right to charge the total amount of stay, as a penalty for late cancellation. - As required by the ‘Legge di Bilancio 2023’, starting from 1 January 2023 the new limit for cash payments by Italian citizens or Italian residents is € 4.999,99. The limit for cash payment for foreign citizens (EU and Extra EU) of € 15.000 remains unchanged.

- LA SPA policy: We remind that access to treatments and the spa for minor is allowed from the age 14 and is subject to the written authorization of the parent or of whoever exercises legal protection.

- Venice Access Fee: Please be advised that for some dates between April 18 and July 27, 2025, an Access Fee is required to visit the city of Venice. As our guest and in consideration of the payment of the Tourist Tax, you may be exempt from the Access Fee. In order to benefit from the exemption one day before the arrival date you will receive directly from the hotel an email containing the Qr code, the codes obtained must be kept and presented in case of request to the authorized staff of the controls. INVOICING
In order to get the invoice, the only fiscal document issued by the Company, it is mandatory to provide the following information within 24 hours from booking confirmation:
- Name and surname or business name (company)
- Address
- VAT number and/or fiscal identification number
- Service Charge:
Reservations are subject to a service charge, in favor of employees, of 5% on the room invoice. For Rosa Grand, Hotel d'Inghilterra and Hotel Villa Michelangelo, an additional 5% is also for dining services. These contributions are not included in the reservation total, but will be applied at check-out, upon the guest's discretion.
