The company firmly believes that environmental sustainability, social responsibility and robust governance are crucial in securing a brighter future for both the business and the wider society. Throughout 2023, Starhotels highlighted its dedication to ethical development by implementing significant measures towards an ecological transition and taking up socially responsible initiatives.
The company has initiated an ambitious long-term investment plan, set for the period 2023-2028, with a financial commitment of 10 million Euros (2 million Euros have been already allocated). This strategy is designed to decrease the Group's total energy usage by over 30% by 2026, showcasing a strong commitment to emission reduction. Starhotels is striving to significantly reduce its environmental impact, with the tangible goal of cutting its greenhouse gas emissions by 10,000 tonnes of CO2 over the next three years, thereby improving its carbon footprint.
