The Splendid Venice, a Starhotels Collezione hotel, in the heart
of Venice a stone's throw from Piazza San Marco, is offering an
exclusive opportunity to have a "rowing" lesson and learn an
ancient art jealously guarded down the centuries by the inhabitants
of the Serenissima.
The 1-hour course for two people will be held at the Fondazione
Querini Stampalia, for over 130 years a consolidated authority on
Venetian arts and culture.
The special 430 euro a night package (for a minimum of two nights)
is valid till 31 December 2013 and includes:
- A Deluxe room with a canal view for two people
- American buffet breakfast
- Welcome gift in room
- Rowing lesson for two people (1 hour)
- Spritz (Venice's favourite aperitif) for two
- Late check-out (4:00 pm)
Terms & Conditions
The rate is for one night for two people in a Deluxe room with a view over the canal and is valid till 31 December 2013 (minimum stay of two nights). The offer is subject to availability and cannot be cumulated with other promotions. The special rate includes 10% VAT. Local tax is not included: €4.00 (high season) and €2.80 (low season) per person per night (excluding children under 10) for a maximum of five consecutive days. Cancellations are accepted without penalty up to 14 days before the date of arrival, unless otherwise indicated at the time of booking. Cancellation after said 14 days entails a penalty of 100% of the whole stay booked.
